Mr. Nutsoman sat at the piano and improvised, while I strolled around hitting the piano's keys, boards, and strings with various blunt instruments. Nutsoman is better than me at making improvisations sound normal, and in this case he put a little more effort into improvising an authentic-sounding psalm accompaniment because he was singing the acknowledgements from the ABRSM edition of Bach's 48 in such a style. This means I abused the piano a little less.

I spent about 30 seconds deciding how I would go about playing this piece, then played it. The idea was to ignore both conventions and organised rejection of them, which meant that some of them crept back in. A couple of minutes previously I had done a similar 10-second piece, "Anti-Art".

This goes with an old story which came from a dream I had when I was 4 about getting stuck in school after class was over and in the empty school going to hide in the toilets. In the toilets there was now the metallic entrance to a huge tunnel of neverending pipes. I imagined the pipes were actually cursed, and were in reality the eternal prison of the enemies of an ancient king who had killed them all and stolen their eyeballs to adorn his hall. They would roam in the tubes and could be seen if you looked closely at the veins in the eyes. Maybe one day one of them would burst out in a now touristy city and wreak havoc... I turned around and the doorway had closed behind me and when I opened it again there were only pipes as far as I could see. I walked for ages and at one point I found a fork in the path, but then it just went on and on again.
