Peel (percussion vs electronics) is the meeting point between Simon O'Rorke's free improvisation and Octif's electronic experimentalism. Peel engage in a game of call and response - electronically catching, transforming, and responding to sounds created by an impressive array of percussion machinery.

Simon O'Rorke is a percussionist who also performs as a member of The Slab, a free improvisation trio whose releases include The Slab, Live at The Space, and Squeakspeak. Simon's recent performances include the Big Sur Experimental Music Festival in 2003.
Octif is a Wellington-based sound artist Shanan Holm - also a member of electronic duo Montano. Octif's previous collaborations have included the mid-90's electronic trio Oblique as well as a range of small experimental performance ensembles.
