I have worked for approximately 25 years as a professional musician in different live and studio situations. For about 9 years I've busied myself intensively with the most different forms of electronic music as well as Drum' n' bass, House, Ambient, Dub and electronic Avantgard. New rhythm- and sound-worlds have opened themselves to me. The connection of acoustic Drumset and the inexhaustible possibilities of electronic gear are very attractive, demanding and exciting.
My album-projects FROST, LUMINOUS and RUFF-STUFF Edition are the results of the gathered experiences of the last years. With my bands ENKHEYM, COMFORT ZONE and eQUARIUS, the WEIGL & HOFFMANN project and the ambient improvisation project EK-LOUNGE I move on similar grounds.
